Experience, Dedication, and Innovative Thinking
Our Story
Queensland Plunge Pools began in 2015 with the Marshall family's vision of creating luxurious house and land packages, each complemented by meticulously designed landscapes, including premium swimming pools. They set out to craft pools that matched or surpassed the elegance and quality of their architectural designs.
Through relentless research and dedication, the company achieved a milestone by creating the largest fully tiled precast concrete pool on the market, measuring 6x3m. This innovation required intricate design and close collaboration with skilled engineers to perfect the mould.
As the company expanded, the Marshalls brought friends into the business, including Chris Scott. With over a decade of experience in developing small lot homes, each featuring pools from various companies, Chris added a valuable customer-centric perspective to the team. His insights and expertise ensure future pool owners achieve the best outcomes for their homes.
Today, Queensland Plunge Pools is a leading provider, installing over 100 pools per year. Their flagship product, the DIPP63 fully tiled 6x3m Drop-In Plunge Pool, is delivered nationwide through numerous registered and licensed installers. With seven different sizes and shapes to choose from, as well as custom builds, Queensland Plunge Pools offers the perfect solution for creating a luxurious backyard escape.
The company's steady growth has led to a move to larger premises to meet the high demand for their quality pools. Queensland Plunge Pools' commitment to excellence and superior products continues to drive their success, with exciting developments on the horizon. Stay tuned to see what's next.

Common Questions
Do you install plunge pools in Brisbane? Yes. Brisbane is one of our primary service areas. We regularly install across greater Brisbane — inner suburbs, northside, southside, and the surrounding growth corridors.
What areas in South East Queensland do you service? We supply and install across the full South East Queensland region, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Toowoomba, and the Scenic Rim. If you're in SEQ and unsure whether we cover your area, just ask — the answer is usually yes.
What is a plunge pool, and how is it different to a regular pool? A plunge pool is a smaller, deeper pool designed for cooling off, relaxing, and making the most of outdoor space — rather than for laps or large groups. Our DIPP63 is a 6m x 3m fully tiled, precast concrete pool that drops in rather than being built on-site. It's smaller in footprint than a traditional pool but still feels substantial — and because it's precast and fully tiled before delivery, the finish is consistent every time.
How long does installation take? Most installs are completed in one to two days once the site is prepared and the crane is booked. The pool arrives fully tiled — there's no rendering, no waterproofing, no curing time on-site. That's the advantage of a drop-in precast pool over a traditional concrete build, which can take weeks.
Do I need council approval to install a plunge pool in Brisbane or SEQ? Yes. In Queensland, any pool requires council approval and must meet fencing requirements under the Building Act. Requirements vary slightly between councils, so we'd recommend checking with your local council — Brisbane City Council, Gold Coast City Council, Sunshine Coast Council, and so on — early in the process. We can point you in the right direction, but the approval is your responsibility as the property owner.
Can a plunge pool fit in a small backyard? The DIPP63 at 6m x 3m suits most standard suburban lots. Access is the more common constraint — we need crane access to the site. If you've got a narrow side gate or restricted access, mention that when you enquire and we'll work through what's possible.
How much does a Queensland Plunge Pool cost? Pricing varies depending on your site, access, and location. The best way to get an accurate figure is to contact us directly — we'll give you a straight answer without the runaround.
I'm outside South East Queensland — can you still help? Yes. Queensland Plunge Pools operates across Australia through our network of installers. If there's an installer in your region, we can make it work. Contact us with your location and we'll tell you what's available.
I'm a builder or landscaper — can I install Queensland Plunge Pools for my clients? Yes, and we're actively looking for trade professionals to join the network. You don't need to be a pool specialist — if you're already working in construction or landscaping, you have the skills needed. Visit our Become an Installer page for full details.
